Celebrating 50 years of confectionery wholesaling

2012 is our 50th birthday and we intend to celebrate all year long! Back in 1962 Ray Hancock started to wholesale sweets and chocolates from the room above his small sweet shop in Shepshed, Loughborough. Today Hancocks, still owned and run by Ray’s two sons Andrew and Adrian, serves tens of thousands of independent retailers from 18 cash and carries across the UK - the numbers keep on growing!
With 50 years of trading under our belts and with many managers and buyers having worked with us for more than 25 years, our knowledge of the confectionery industry is understandably pretty good. We spot the trends and opportunities, bringing you a never ending supply of new and innovative confectionery products to sell alongside tried and tested favourites. Hancocks is also known for its range of value, own label and lesser known branded confectionery, which has become a key driver during the tough economic climate.
