Hancocks launches online Easter range

Posted on 14th January, 2014

As Easter looms large, for the first time ever Hancocks is offering a comprehensive Easter confectionery range online in addition to our 20 depots nationwide. Over 120 branded and own label Easter confectionery products can now be purchased online from our website and delivered direct to your business.

Retailers can maximise the potential of the season by stocking impulsively purchased treats from this month whilst building up a full Easter gifting display as the occasion gets closer. If you need help with your range, please just ask.

Filled eggs start to sell very well from January as a small treat. Cadbury’s iconic Crème Eggs are undoubtedly the nation’s favourite, whilst a Lindt Lindor Egg is a luxuriant alternative for the premium chocolate lover. Of course Kinder Surprise Eggs come into their own at this time of year as an ideal small treat for the children, in addition to products such as the Malteaster Bunny and mini Lindt Gold Bunnies. As with all impulsively purchased products, the counter is the optimum place to display them but the most important factor is to ensure clear visibility.

Mini Eggs continue to be a long standing favourite during the Easter season and at Hancocks you can purchase them in a number of pre packed and bulk formats. Our bulk bags of Mini Eggs see strong sales from January as retailers start to develop a spring feel to their pick and mix displays. They can be accompanied by Fried Eggs, Jelly Eggs, Foil Wrapped Eggs and perhaps a number of heart shaped sweets in readiness for Valentine’s Day.

At Hancocks you’ll find a number of great value own label products for the Easter season, in addition to some interesting branded formats. Some of our favourites include:

You can take a look at our Easter category online, to be found within our Occasions section. Alternatively, take a trip to one of our confectionery cash and carries to view the entire range and glean plenty of advice and ideas.

But your own brand stuff isn’t in stock when you write this and as for the branded eggs – with the VAT and delivery they work out dearer than going and buying them from Tesco!!!
