At Hancocks we love developing and introducing new products and Christmas is a great time to do this. Last Christmas, novelty gifts such as My Little Sweet Shop, Giant Chocolate Cup Cake and our range of sweet filled wooden toys sold extremely well and we have brought them back again for your customers to enjoy during the run up to Christmas 2013.
In addition to some firm favourites, we’ve developed and introduced many more novelty gift ideas for this year, giving you the chance to really stand out with your Christmas confectionery range. Giant Snowies and Jazzies are selling well already whilst our new Swizzels and Barratt branded mugs and Swizzels Giant Containers are receiving much attention. We particularly like our boxes of Swizzels and Barratt Christmas Crackers, allowing families a confectionery twist at the Christmas table this year.
Retailers can generally achieve a strong margin on novelty gift items, especially if they include a keepsake item that is perceived to heighten the value of the gift. Examples include our branded sweet filled mugs and sweet filled wooden toys. One fabulous high margin example is our new and exclusive Wooden Reindeer Advent Calendar that can be re-filled with treats another year.
