Who Makes Barratt Sweets?

Founded in London way back in 1848, George Osborne Barratt opened the first Barratts sweet factory. They then moved and upsized their factories over the years, and today they are made across the multiple factories of their parent company Valeo Confectionery. Still made in the UK, the Barratts range features many of the favourites that made them such a household name and a sweetshop favourite!

Barratt Sherbet Sweets

Within their range, Barratt has some particularly popular treats that revolve around the sweet powder – and they’ve been sweetshop favourites for decades. With a liquorice stick to extract the sherbet, the Sherbet Fountain and its yellow packaging are British confectionery royalty. The same can be said of the Dip Dab, which pairs a strawberry flavour lollipop with lemon flavour sherbet. Both are popular choices that fans of fizzy sweets will find hard to resist! 

Can You Still Buy Barratt Frosties?

Unfortunately, you can no longer buy Barratt Frosties. The line was discontinued in 2015, although there are other cola flavour sweets that you can offer for shoppers who still have the taste for them. Royale Kola Cubes are the closest match, with their hard red candy. But, unfortunately, there is nothing that can directly replace the Barratt Frosties.
