Store re-openings

We are pleased to be able to reopen the majority of our stores. Please check our Store Information page for our opening hours.

All open stores will be operating within Government Guidelines and Social Distancing measures to keep our staff and customers safe during your visit

 

Delivered Service

We continue to experience high demand for our online service.

 

When placing orders, the available delivery dates are shown in the basket and during checkout. Please do not call our Customer Services team and ask for an expedited service at this is something we are not able to provide at this moment in time. 

 

Orders for Express services will be delivered on the delivery date provided on the order confirmation email and orders for the Standard service will be delivered on or before the delivery date provided on the order confirmation email. 

 

Our team continue to work extremely hard to process orders and replenish stock as fast as possible for all our customers whilst working within the guidelines of social distancing.

Store re-openings

Following a successful trial in Manchester we are pleased to be able to reopen the following stores

  • Birmingham
  • Glasgow
  • Manchester
  • Watford

When placing orders, the available delivery dates are shown in the basket and during checkout. Please do not call our Customer Services team and ask for an expedited service at this is something we are not able to provide at this moment in time.

Pre Easter delivery cut-off

 

If you order before 12pm on Tuesday 7th April and select an 'Express' delivery service your order should be delivered on Thursday 9th April. Orders placed for Express services after this time will not be delivered before Easter. All orders for the Standard delivery service will be delivered after Easter on or before the date you are provided during checkout

UPDATE 6th April 2020

We are currently experiencing high demand for our online service. As a result, processing of orders is taking longer than usual. We have moved the minimum spend to £75 (ex VAT) and the Free Delivery threshold will remain at £250 (ex VAT) to help support your business through these unprecedented times.

 

Orders for Express services will be delivered on the delivery date provided on the order confirmation email and orders for the Standard service will be delivered on or before the delivery date provided on the order confirmation email.

On Wednesday 25th March we made the very difficult decision to temporarily suspend our operations and close the doors at our 19 Hancocks Cash and Carrys, taking effect from Sunday 29th March.  The safety for our colleagues, our customers, and suppliers has been at the forefront of our thinking and ultimately led to the decision we have made.  We take great pride in being able to service our customers to the highest standards, from the specialist sweet shops and local village shops to large scale sweet businesses.  However, as a nation we have to fight COVID19 together and responding to the advice of the government to restrict social contact and activity, we have decided this is the best way for us to do our part to support the UK through this.

 

Our website will continue to operate offering you many thousands of products delivered to your door.  As a temporary measure we will be lowering the minimum spend to £35 and also lowering the Free Delivery threshold to £250 to help support your business through these unprecedented times. Please check your online shopping basket for the latest delivery dates.
