Who is Hancocks?
World of Sweets (Hancocks) Limited is a the UK’s largest confectionery wholesaler specialising in the sale of sweets, chocolate, drinks and snacks to a wide range of businesses. We sell through our website and from a network of stores across the United Kingdom. learn more.
Online ordering
Do I need to be a business to shop online with you?
We generally sell products by the case and so it is unlikely that you will want that quantity if you are an individual! However, if you are organising an event such as a wedding or a fund raising activity, or just simply want to buy in bulk then you are welcome to place your order with us. Our minimum order value is £50 (ex. VAT).
I already shop in one of your stores. Do I need to register with you separately to shop online?
You do not need to register to shop with us online but creating an online account allows us to securely store your address and order information making it easier to reorder the next time you shop. You can input your customer number when you create an online account so that we know you also shop in-store too.
Do your prices include VAT?
Our prices do not include VAT but we show the order total price including VAT on our shopping trolley page and in the order summary in checkout so that you can be clear on what you will be charged. A large proportion of our customers are VAT registered businesses so wish to see our prices exclusive of VAT.
Do you sell your entire store range online?
We are constantly reviewing and extending our range. We offer a FREE click and collect service so anything we sell that we cannot deliver can be purchased online for store collection.
Do you sell overseas?
Yes, we can deliver to many countries all around the world. Full international delivery information. We can also facilitate use of arranging your own shipper if you are purchasing large quantities for use outside of the UK and this option can be selected during checkout.
How long will my order take to be delivered?
Just before you place your order you will provided with a range of delivery options with accurate delivery dates. Please see our delivery page for full details. Orders under £500 are usually delivered by DPD and they will provide you with a 1 hour delivery slot on the day of delivery which you are able to amend if not convenient. Orders over £500 will generally arrive via a pallet.
Shopping in store
Do you sell confectionery to consumers in-store?
No, our stores only sell to TRADE ONLY customers. Like our online store there is a £50 (ex. VAT) minimum spend per visit. We reserve the right to validate your eligibility to shop in-store with us.
I run a business. Can I just turn up and shop at one of your stores?
Please feel free to drop in and visit Hancocks. We will show you round so that you can see the range of confectionery available to you. If you would like to register as a Hancocks customer, you will need to supply two forms of business identification.

If you would like to register as a Hancocks customer, you will need to supply two forms of business identification. We do operate a day pass upon validation of your business credentials. There is a £2 charge for a day pass.
