Take advantage of ‘Early Bird’ Christmas shoppers and stock up early.

Posted on 11th September, 2013

With just over three months until Christmas, ‘Early Bird’ shoppers will start to think about buying some more fun Christmas tree decorations in readiness for the festivities. Confectionery decorations are always high on the list and as they are consumed every year, more are always required!

We released our new Christmas Confectionery brochure at the end of August and with our full Christmas range available in our cash and carries from this month (and a substantial amount available to buy online), now is the perfect time to stock up on all of our Christmas goodies and start to develop an early display in your store.

This year’s brochure has some new and exclusive additions to our delicious range of tree decorations. New for 2013 is an Assorted Tree Decorations box (£4.99 RRP), containing 16 Christmas characters that each hang on the tree from a candy cane. Santas and Snowmen will look very jolly indeed before providing the family with a sweet treat at Christmas time. Foil wrapped chocolate Santas and Snowmen come ready to hang on the tree and with an RRP of 10p, they are very affordable. Sweet filled Christmas tree decoration tins (£1 RRP) and traditional candy canes (5p-20p RRP) return following tremendous sales last season. Shoppers love to collect these festive tins year after year, re-filling them with sweet treats to surprise the family, whilst candy canes have become a robust seller every Christmas; whether mini versions to hang on the tree or our Giant Candy Cane which makes a great gift.

Confectionery Christmas tree decorations always start to sell from September as shoppers pick up small festive ideas when they spot them. Confectionery ideas for stocking fillers and chocolate advent calendars are other early choices that Hancocks can help you with too. Margins on these types of products are generally high, ensuring that your business can cash in on some very useful early festive sales before the main buying period starts.

Contact your local Hancocks Cash and Carry for more information on our selection of popular Christmas tree decorations and the rest of our Christmas confectionery range.
