Lonka Nougat

Whilst nougat may have a similar texture to fudge, the two confections are very different. Fudge is made from sugar and cream and is very, very rich. Nougat on the other hand is made from a whipping agent that combines nuts (such as almonds), sugar, honey and sometimes fruit. Like fudge, this is then allowed to set and voila, we have nougat. The result is even creamier than fudge and brings in a compelling nutty flavour.
